Retrieve part of space via XML-RPC

Nils Kneuper June 6, 2013

We are currently getting an html extract of a space using the function

String exportSpace(String token, String spaceKey, String exportType)

as described in https://developer.atlassian.com/display/CONFDEV/Remote+Confluence+Methods#RemoteConfluenceMethods-Spaces.

Using the confluence 4.3 webinterface it is also possible to create a custom extract of a space e.g. only based on the tree below a specific page. We would like to use this feature via an XML-RPC call. Is this possible somehow? Or do we have to create a separate space, have the content in there and extract it?

Looking forward to your replies.

Thanks for the info. Our administrators are currently working on the upgrade to 5.1. I guess exporting parts of a space via RPC calls is also not available in this version of confluence. Is this correct? And thanks for the answer.

Current 4.3.2 RPC methods will not give any option to copy only the part of space.
