We are facing a bit of a major issue: The solution we are looking for is for on campus (with a certain IP range) we want to allow anonymous access to the Confluence site without log in; for off campus we want to require all users to log in.
This instance of Confluence is our company Intranet, I'm guessing that other companies use Confluence as their intranet as well and may have their instance configured this way. Any help would be extremely and gratefully accepted.
You are looking for a SSO solution. Check out the SAML SingleSignOn for Confluence, Kerberos Authentication for Confluence, and Integrated Windows Authentication plugins. On site it should use your computer login and sign you in silently and off sight it would prompt for creds.
