Please help us by indicating the steps to follow in order to migrate confluence 6.7.2 over windows and with data base oracle 12c to Confluece 6.15 over linux red hat and with mysql database. Thank you for your prompt collaboration
Hi Lilia,
as you want to change the database, your only option is to create a Confluence backup from your old site and import this backup on your new (empty) Confluence server.
So set up the new server with a new database first, do the backup on the old one & import on the new one.
Check this one, too:

Dear good afternoon Taking into account the indicated, please your collaboration responding to the following concerns in case the new Database to be migrated is MYSQL or PostgreSQL
1. What is the recommended version of MYSQL and PostgreSQL that works with the confluense 6.15.1 tool?
2. What are the settings for MYSQL and PostgreSQL (baseline) recommended by Atlassian?
3. What would be the recommended characteristics for the confluense server regarding processing. memory and storage capacity?
4. Is it possible to work with a server for the confluense 6.15.1 software and another server for the database, be it MYSQL or PostgreSQL?
5. What are the security settings recommended by the manufacturer for the Confluense / MYSQL and Confluence / PostgreSQ application?
6. Is it enough to have the support mentioned in the migration process, or is it necessary to make changes to the MYSQL or PostgreSQL BDD, if so, what would be the changes to be made?
thanks for your help
