Remove 'link page' Confluence button on Jira Cloud

Is there a way to remove the link page button for a Cloud site that has both Confluence and Jira?

As not all people in the organisation use Jira and Confluence so it confuses them.

No it can't be removed, nor could I see anywhere in Project Settings allowing me to switch it off. 

Besides you said not all people in the org use Confluence and Jira projects, but what about those who do, removing the link for them would not be beneficial. 

What you could do is use an old project type, instead of the new way.
