we like to create new readonly user for confluence, what permissions we need to setup for that.
I would create a group called read-only. This group would be added to global permissions as a group with 'can-use' permission.
I would then go and add the read-only group to every space that you would want to make available to whatever script/user is going to use this by giving it only view permisssion.
