We just upgraded from Confluence 2.7.1 to 4.1.9.
I see we can still insert wiki markup but is there a way to view a page as raw wiki markup?
We like to copy raw wiki markup out of confluence and paste in into other editors. From what I have read and googled It does not seem we can take an already created page and view as raw wiki markup?

Hi Derek,
You can view the raw wiki markup for a page by clicking Tools -> View Storage Format, but you cannot do a lot with this as it just shows you the new XML format.
What you may be interested in is the Confluence Source Editor plugin - https://plugins.atlassian.com/plugins/com.atlassian.confluence.plugins.editor.confluence-source-editor - which allows you to edit the raw storage format using the syntax documented at http://confluence.atlassian.com/display/DOC/Confluence+Storage+Format
You may also be interested in Atlassian's statement on the feedback of the 4.x editor at http://confluence.atlassian.com/display/DOC/Confluence+4.0+Editor+-+Customer+Feedback and you have an opportunity to contribute to the specification of an improved editor at http://confluence.atlassian.com/display/DOC/Specification+-+Confluence+Advanced+Editor
If you're a heavy wiki markup user the situation is not great at the moment, but it is getting better.
Hope that helps?
Andrew.
Hi Derek,
there are a lot of theads and discussions here about that. Look here for example: https://answers.atlassian.com/questions/21735/occupy-confluence-markup-provide-a-wysiwyg-xhtml-markup-editor-to-edit-the-markup-source-of-confluence-4-wiki-pages
