Q&A plug-in permissions in Confluence

Divya Ragatha April 28, 2015

Hello,

I have installed Q&A plug-in on our UAT instance of Confluence and have provided access to users who need to see how this works. The plug-in access has been restricted to a certain group of users only. The user has been given admin access on the test space created for this purpose. However, the user is unable to see the 'Create Topic' option available for the plug-in. This seems to be available just for the system admins. Is there a way to make this option available to space admins as well?

Any help on this is highly appreciated.

Thank you,
Divya

Hi Guilherme,

Thank you for your reply. I have already set up groups who need to be able to work with the plug-in. However, the users who do have access to it are unable to see the option to 'Create Topic' in the Topics tab.

Thank you,

Hi Divyia, would it be possible to paste a screenshot with the current permissions for each user in Atlassian Questions and Confluence itself? Does it happens for only for this couple of users, or it does happen with a greater group?

Hello Divya, assuming you are refering to the Confluence questions permission schema, please note to check if the permissions have been also assigned in "  > General Configuration > Confluence Questions Permissions".
