Problem with creating a new account

Hello

When i will creat a new user account, we get an error.

Screen from backend attached. Seems soemthing wrong with Java.

Whats wrong here? Accounts are left, we not reached the limit.

But we didnt use the new h2 database after activating our product as its shown in the backend, as this is a task, which requires more time and was not clear before purchasing the product.

So what can we do now, to add more accounts and resolve this problem?

The error message says that there are no corresponding rights.
1. Which db is used?
2. Are the users created in the internal directory or is external user management used?
3. Does the user have which users want to create systemadmin rights?
4. Are the other functionalities of confluence error-free?
5. Which confluence version is used?

Hello repi

1. the confluence db which is used in the test period. we couldnt change the db to the h2 database as its shown in the confluence backend till now after we purchased the license.

2. internal directory in admin panel under users

3. its the main admin with all rights. i can see in the error message, that the user has not the privileges. but its impossible, as its the main admin user.

4. yes, i couldnt find any other errors except the message, that we should change to other database.

5. 7.2.1 on own server win 2019

Question, why a confluence version 7.2.1 when you seem to start over with a test license?
The confluence is currently at 7.5.
I would first set up a test installation with a current version.
Since there is probably no content, delete the whole thing and put it on again.

Upgraded now to 7.5 and problem still accours with main admin login.

Clean new install was not possible, bcs we have content inside and customers using it already.

Content in a trial version with an h2 DB?
You do not do that. A productive instance never with an h2 DB.
You can do that privately.
Possibly save the corresponding space that has the content via confluence internal backup.
New installation (right with the correct DB), configure the Confluence accordingly and then import the space with content again.
