Popular content - how to exclude pages and how to change its layout

1) How can I exclude home page from popular content?

2) How can I change the layout of this? I need to display popular content with exatly the same layout as recently updated

Hello,

I'm not sure about it, but based on the index, it's not possible to remove home page from popular content, because it will be rebuilded as it is based on index.

About the popular content Layout, is a interesting feature, but may be you can just remove it and don't change its layout. Sorry that Confluence doesn't have a concrete solution for it at the moment.
