Picking out first letter from page title

May sound like an unusual thing to do but is there a way to pick out the first letter from the page title with User Macros?

Example:

Page Title: Text Document

Key (Result): T

$content.title.substring (0,1)

Or to capitalize the letter,

$content.title.substring (0,1).toUpperCase()
