Personal space not tied to user profile

I have a personal space, but it is not tied to my user profile. When I select 'create personal space' from the menu, after I hit create it just spins, and goes no further.

The space key is the same format as another users personal space.

Ideas?

Is the space created? When you go to the space list, can you find the space?
