Permission to edit just a part of a page i.a. fill content to a table

Hi,

how can I grant permission in a page , just to populate one table?

Hi @Gregory ,

you won't be able to do so with the help of standard Confluence permission tools. You can grant the permission to edit the whole page, not the specific elements like tables.

But there are several workarounds: you may try to use two pages and use the standard Excerpt/Excerpt Include macros. So, your user will edit content on the first page, and this snippet will be reused onto the second page which doesn't have edit permissions for this user.

If to speak about reusing tables, we can suggest using the Table Excerpt/Table Excerpt Include macros provided by the Table Filter and Charts for Confluence app. They are more advanced and don't have any limitations (you may have as many excerpts per page as you need).
