I need to make a Space that users can view the articles by entering their login and password, but that does not go to an administrative area of Confluence, would see as a normal visitor of the site, but will need to enter the login and password to view the articles. Can I do this?
Hi @Tiago Vieira,
This is not possible. You must do some administration on the space/page.
So, if you're working on a page that shouldn't be viewed by just anybody, it's easy to lock it down to the people who need to know. You can add restrictions for individuals or for Confluence groups.
To add or remove page restrictions, you'll need to have permissions to edit the page and 'Restrict' or 'Admin' permission in the space.
Please read below 2 articles which might help you to know more details about permissions and restrictions in Confluence.
