I would like to list all pages in a space sorted by the value in a page properties macro regardless of the labels.
In my case I have a standard page properties report on every page where there is a "Last Reviewed" property with a date against it.
The business objective is to be able to list pages that have not been reviewed for some time and may be obsolete or stale. I am making the distinction between "last modified date" which changes whenever someone edits a page and a "Last Reviewed" date when someone is signalling that they have read the document and confirmed it is still contains active information.
As the Page Properties Report macro insists on supplying a label I don't think that this is the macro to be used. Is this something that can be done in Confluence?
Hi @Dave Poole ,
We can suggest trying our Table Filter, Charts & Spreadsheets for Confluence app and its Table Excerpt/Table Excerpt Include macros.
The macros work kinda similar to the Page Properties/Page Properties Report macros: you place tables with Excerpts on your pages and then collect them into one big report using the Table Excerpt Include macro.
The difference is that you don't need to have labels on your pages with Excerpts: you can automatically collect Excerpts from all the child pages or child pages&further descendants. So, with the latter option, you'll be able to cover the whole page tree without using additional page labels.
Then your report may be sorted and filtered with the help of out other macros - Table Filter or Table Transformer.
If you are not familiar with the app, please book a call with the team - we'll show this use case live.
