I am running into an issue where we have a client that has set up a Confluence space with a page index of 3739 pages. Since the page index is on the landing page the space is very slow to load and gets logging messages indicating that the macro is taking a long time to generate. Ideally I would rather the client not use the page index macro with so many enteries but I can not think of an alternative for them. Can anyone give me suggestions for an alternative or give any advice if there is a way to make the Page Index macro work better with such a large entery?
