Several PNG files are inserted in a Confluence page. The PNG files should actually be displayed in the body text, but they take ages to load and do not open in the end.
Does somebody knows what to do?
Thank U!
This could be because of Browser Cache, File Size or Browser Extensions related issue.
Can you give a try from a different browser.
Below given is one of the similar issue and you can take a reference.
Images show "Preview unavailable" for no apparent ... (atlassian.com)
Hope this helps - Happy to help further!!
Thank you very much and have a great one!
Warm regards
Thank you @Humashankar VJ
I tried some other things, but nothing helped. I just can open the PNG File by copying the picadress and paste it in my browser.

Hi @Karina Froesch
This is not expected behavior. Can you click on the three dots in the top right corner of the page and then select "Attachments"? Do you see any attachments listed there? If not, you may have accidentally linked an image to the page instead of actually uploading it to Confluence.
Also, try disabling all extensions or using a different browser to see what happens.

Hi @Sarp Egemen
thank you for your quick reply. If i click on the three dots this editing bar opens:
There is no Attachment list. Maybe because I am not the author of the text in which the PNG file is inserted.
I already tried to open it with another browser or to clear the cache. It doesn´t help.

@Karina Froesch Welcome to the community!
@Sarp Egemen is not referring to the 3 dots in the image, but those at the top right of the page. The path to open the Attachments page is only available when viewing the page, not when editing the page (as shown below):
Once you open the page, check to see if the image files you are expecting to see on the page are listed there—that they are actually attached to the page.

Thanks for the clarification, @Barbara Szczesniak ⭐️🙌🏻. Yes, indeed, I was referring to that one.

Thank you @Barbara Szczesniak
:) Yes, the file I want to open in the page is listed in the Attachments. I already downloaded the files.
