PDF Export CSS Selector explainer

Is there an article that explains what each selector in the PDF CSS file controls.  For example I want to redur the space between headers on the export, but the obvious selectors don't seem to make a difference.

For example 

h1 { font-size: 26px; margin: 10px 0 0 0; color: #2478aa; }

Changes the font color but the space between seems to remain defaulted?
