Our confluence application becomes unavailable (error Service unavailable or error 500).
We have faced the issue multiple time in last week which is impacting the business.
We restarted the confluence service to bring up the application.
We tried to find the root cause but no luck. Please consider the issues as priority and help us to resolve the issue.

My first thought, since this occurs around the same time every day, is a backup process that's locking the DB. I've definitely run into that before.
