Open MS Office Documents via WebDAV as default

Is there a way to open MS Office Documents via WebDAV automatically if I link to a .docx attachment? The way of going to the file list and selecting "Edit in Office" or displaying the whole Office document in the Wiki article seems to be a bit overkill if I just like to add a link to a doc which users should be able to edit in Office. Or do I miss something?

Hello Sasha, you can set a direct link for that file in the server using an analog path to the following:

Note that this works with files with no spaces in their names, alternatively you can refer to this doc for additional info on linking items from the page.
