Hi,
I'm trying to insert an image by clicking the small popup box after typing "/image" but nothing happens. No error, nothing. The small box just disappears. I wonder if I need to be a space admin/owner for it to work. This might also explain why the images I copied/pasted into the page previously sometimes show up as broken link symbols. Any insight would be appreciated.
Many thanks!
What do you mean by "typing /image"? Do you get this modal window, with the "Insert" button clickable:
Then, if you click "Insert", what's happening?
Hi @Nicolas Casel ,
I don't get that far. I get the small popup box (my screenshot) from typing "/image" and then it's suppose to show me the dialog box (your screenshot) but it doesn't. I tested it on my Confluence dev instance and it worked. The problem seems to be isolated to the space (on prod instance) of which I'm not an admin/owner.

Hi @JRodney Estrada ,
I don't know this nomenclature ' /image ' for opening files & images, are you using Confluence on Cloud?

Yup, Confluence Cloud. If you type forward slash (" / ") on the edit page, it gives you a shortcut menu for adding different things like images, emojis, etc... Another example, is if you type double forward slashes (" // "), it gives you the option to install a date. You can also click the pull-down menu at the top of the Confluence edit page.

Thanks for your feedback, but I am not using Cloud so I won't be of much help.
