New to Confluence App Dev - Need a way to create multiple pages from a button Macro

I'm new to Confluence App development and I'm looking for some advice.

I need to be able to create a page with x child pages at the click of a button.

I've looked at the https://developer.atlassian.com/cloud/confluence/multi-page-blueprints-with-confluence-connect/ tutorial - thinking that if I can create one page, I can look at the code and add another - however, the tutorial doesn't work with issues with ngrok and the lock node module.

I was wondering if there was a way to fix this, or how to I can do this without using a third party module, as the ones that I've seen out there in the wild don't seem to work fully with Cloud.
