New editor making a picture a link

In the new editor, my images just show up as a grey box with a 'page' symbol in the middle. I want to make this picture a link but can't see the option for doing that. Selecting the grey box just allows align | wrap | trash options. Can someone advise whats going on as I'm new to this editor. Many thanks.

Not sure what's going on with the image issue itself, but it is not currently possible to add a link to an image in the new editor. There have been several posts about this lately, and I believe there's an open issue with Support about it. If I can find a link to the issue I will post it.

seem there is a bug in the Confluence Cloud version since yesterday.

Adding an image was working perfectly before.

The icon to add an image has also been removed since the yesterday.

I hope this will be solved today !
