New Install - Help with MySQL

I have a windows 2019 server and intend to install confluence with a native my SQL instance. I dont know a ton about mysql so which one am I downloading

• MySQL APT Repository
• MySQL SUSE Repository

• MySQL Router
• MySQL Shell

• MySQL Installer for Windows
• MySQL for Excel
• MySQL for Visual Studio
• MySQL Notifier

I assumed community or just the installer for windows but Im not 100% sure.

I have the Atlassian help guide for setup so I think i can get there.

Hi Justin,

the first three matches are packages for Linux distros. An installer for Windows, as you said you are going with Windows Server 2019, will meet the requirement.

MySQL for Excel, Visual Studio and Notifier are integrations for development and reporting - also not what you are looking for.

With help guide you meant this documentation? Yes, this should help you installing the application.
