Need to trasnfer Confluence License to new server

Been using Confluence 6.1 for the past months with embedded DB. Executed and upgrade to 6.4 with SQL as DB to a new (Linux) server.

I need to decomission the old server and transfer the license to the new one.

Please Advice.

The license is not tied to a specific server id if it is a paid license, it only used internally for tracking, see this thread

You should still be able to just copy/paste the license key and use it on your new server.

Thanks. I thought it was tied to the Server ID.

I managed to paste and license the new server.

How do I mark this as an answer?
