Moving Anchors from one page to another

Alexander levy July 20, 2017

Hello,

for my confluence site, I am using documents which will need to be refreshed from time to time.  I am using anchors because another page needs to lead to a specific section in this document. these documents are being imported (msft word). Is there any way to "copy and paste" or do something similar the anchors from one document to the "refreshed" document?

Hello Alexander,

From what it sounds like you want to do, I do not believe anchor macros might be the best suggestion for you. The way they are added will maintain the anchors you originally create, so it's not as easy to move them and update to the refreshed document.

Have you considered using Excerpt Include macros? This macro allows you to include bits from other pages, and the content will be updated when it is updated at the source.

Kind Regards,
Shannon
