Make the browsers load the Javascript(jquery) changes with out manual hard refresh

betsen baby April 5, 2016

This question is in reference to Atlassian Documentation: How to use JavaScript in Confluence

Hi, I am using Jquery(in theme configuration) to Hide/Show some elements in the Confluenc. The changes in this java-script is not reflected unless I do a hard refresh on the browser.

As it is not possible to make all the users to do hard refresh on their browsers, is there a way in confluence to make the browser update the local javascript?

Best regards,

Betsen

If you are using web resources, changing the web resource key will force the javascript to be reloaded when the plugin is upgraded. Worth checking out.
