Hi. We upgraded a few days ago from Confluence 4 to Confluence 6.4.1.
Now, in some of the pages, we see:
Is there a way to retrieve the contents of this macro?
Thanks!
Hi Ben,
Can you have a look at the Enabling the Macro section of HTML Macro and ensure it's enabled? It may have been disabled during your migration.

Shannon
Hi Shannon,
I looked under my Confluence HTML Macros, and only 3 out of 8 were enabled. Now I've enabled all 8 of them, and the pages now do in fact look right, so thanks for the help!
Assuming I do trust our employees, are there any considerations in enabling all these macros?
Do you know which are more relevant for solving the problem I had at hand?
Thanks,
Ben

Hi Ben,
I don't believe you need to enable all 8; the instructions have you just enabling the html (html-xhtml) module.
However, the consideration is that enabling the macro could make your site vulnerable:
HTML macros are disabled by default
The HTML macro will only be available if it has been enabled by an administrator. Enabling these macros can make your Confluence site vulnerable to cross-site scripting attacks.
Let me know if you have any questions about this.

Shannon
