Lost access to Space Admin tools

Using Conflunce On-Demand:

Recently I lost access to Space Administration tools. Either I or another administrator accidently did something.

I was reading through other answers like:

I am part of the administrators group which has the following global permissions:

can use:                      true
attach files to user profile: false
update user status:           true
personal space:               true
create spaces:                true
Confluence Administrator:     true
System Administrator:         false

There are certain spaces that I used to have the space admin tools available on but I don't any more. One of the above referenced links says that I need to be apart of the confluence-administrators group.

But when I go to:
Confluence Admin -> Users & Security -> Groups

I see confluence-administrators listed. It has one user:
sysadmin - who I don't know the password to and neither does the person who setup confluence.

There is no Delete or Edit Members options under Operations.

All the other Groups (except system-administrators) have delete / edit members links.

I don't see how I can add myself to the confluence-administrators group. When I go to edit my groups for my user, the confluence-administrators groups is not in the list of available groups.

What can I do?

Hi Harrison,
I've responded in your ticket as well. Please be aware that the system-administrators and confluence-administrators group are reserved for atlassian use only in the OnDemand platform. Access cannot be changed to those except on our end. Everything appears to be operating fine when I check out your instance. Please respond here or in the ticket, which features are you trying to access that you cannot?

Thanks for the clarification about the other groups. It's possible (sadly) that I was looking in the wrong place for the space admin. For some of the spaces the admin / configure buttons appear on the left hand side. For the spaces I was concerned about - they were not visible there. The other administrator just pointed out that they are available from Browse -> Space Admin.

Harrison, I've been there, done that. You probably forgot to include yourself or your admin peers by name or by group (Administrators, perhaps) on that space. Without it, you have no space admin access. On the space admin page, goto the Permissions section, and assure you have space admin rights. Is that it?
