Livesearch Configuration options

I had Livesearch set to search the space where it's set up and two other spaces. This worked when we were on cloud. However, now we're on server and it doesn't appear that it's working. My configuration is as follows:

"searchstring" AND spacekey = ("space1" OR "space2")

Can anyone point out where I'm going wrong here? Thanks in advance.
