Hello,
We made backup zip-file from old installation and imported it to new installation. All operations was done from backup and restore menu within confluence interface. Restore was successful except one problem: hyperlinks to attached Microsoft Office documents not working. On old installation links opens with black full screen message like "can't preview you need to download". On new installation links doesn't works at all. All documents are in place, we can download them from attachments pages, but we lost links to them on pages. Cleaning the cache didn't help. Creating new links in documents works, but it is true only for new created pages, now even preview works. On existed pages from 7.4.6 new links not working. Even if attach new document file to existed page and make link to it on that page, it doesn't work.
Old installation:
centos linux 7.9
confluence 7.4.6 installed from atlassian binary image
postgresql 9.6 installed from official postgresql repository
New installation:
oracle linux 8.4
confluence 7.13.1 installed from official atlassian docker image
postgresql 11.11 installed from official postgresql docker image
Any help is welcome,
Best regards
Igor Sakun
Database on old instance, where all worked fine, was created with Collate and Ctype is equal to "en_US.UTF-8".
Database on current instance was created with Collate and Ctype is equal to "C".
I created new confluence server with new database where Collate and Ctype is en_US.UTF-8 and imported XML backup from current instance. Links works now, document preview works too.
Do not repeat our mistakes.
Issue resolved with help from Atlassian support.

Can you provide a little more information? What is the link structure if you inspect the link element of a link that is working and one that is not working? Did you change domains or is it the same?
