Hi folks!
We have a bunch of links in our product Confluence-Jira connection placed in comments, documents, etc. Now we are going to change our space domain name and there is the question: what about all this links? If a person clicks on an old link, will he be redirected to new one?
I searched the help docs, but I couldn't find the answer.
Thanks!
Here's the documentation you were looking for: https://support.atlassian.com/organization-administration/docs/update-a-product-url.
When you update a site’s URL, we store the previous URL in your site’s history and redirect all links to the new URL. This means that when your users visit old URLs (for example, links to Jira issues and Confluence pages), we redirect them to the new URL.
You should also read this, https://support.atlassian.com/organization-administration/docs/does-updating-a-products-url-impact-its-installed-apps, to make sure any installed marketplace apps will still work correctly after the URL change.
