Link to this page Wiki Markup URLs

What will happen to links that go directly to the Wiki Markup URL once Confluence has been upgrade to v4.x that no longer has Wiki Markup included? Will those URLs simply be broken and take the user to a 404 error page? Will Confluence understand that it is a Wiki Markup URL and take the user to the page but just not the Wiki Markup URL?

Looking that the Wiki Markup URL information further shows that it was just a way of linking internally from the Wiki and would not work from external sources. The format for that Wiki URL is still valid and will not break.

Whats a "Wiki Markup URL"?

Previous versions of Wiki that allowed Wiki Markup brought up a Wiki Markup URL in the Link to this page dialog box. It only showed the Wiki Markup link information for the page.
