The upgrade process from 3.5.17 to 4.3 worked with little delay. When we went to finally do our upgrade 4.3.1 was out and I decided to upgrade to it instead. During the upgrade process all 20,000+ user objects from LDAP where added to confluence. Why did this functionality change? Only users that are a member of certain groups should be added to confluence. We did not have this problem with 4.3. In the past it seems that users where only added to confluence on initial login.
The upgrade took about 4 hours instead of the 5-10 minutes it took when upgrading to 4.3.
