Jira links appearing in Confluence when exported to PDF as URL

Steps

  1. Create a Jira links in a Confluence page 
  2. Publish the page and export to a PDF
  3. The Jira links appear as descriptive (see shaded blue eg below) - which is what I want
  4. Create more Jira links and export to a PDF
  5. Now some of the Jira links appear as URL (see shaded yellow eg blue)
  6. After a while all the Jira links appear as URL and not a descriptive2021-01-04_16-08-28.jpg

Thank you for reaching out to Atlassian Community!

Testing on my local site, I was able to replicate the same issue. All Jira links show as URL when exporting to PDF or Word.

Further searching, I found out that this issue is a known bug:
