Jira and Confluence - Detecting Confluence change in Jira

Hello Community,

I have been trying to find a way to detect a change in Confluence from Jira?
I want a certain event to trigger in Jira when something is modified in Confluence.

Could this be done?

IMO out of the box this is not possible.

You could implement a listener in Confluence that listens to the page changes, then either calls a JIRA add-on (possibly via the REST API that the add-on publishes) that triggers the custom event you mentioned.
