JIRA integration with confluence

Can action items from meeting notes in confluence be tracked in JIRA ? If yes how can we achieve that

1 answer

Not dynamically or magically. You would need to create sub-tasks for each action item in JIRA.

So you are saying it cannot be achieved ? I meant can't action items in meeting notes automatically get created in jira as action item issue type ?

Correct, it can not be achieved.

But action items show up in the Confluence tasks for assigned users - https://blogs.atlassian.com/2012/09/confluence-101-keep-your-team-on-track-with-tasks/

Likewise you could create tasks in JIRA and show the list in the Wiki page.
