JIRA email handler creates issues from emails but puts them into the wrong project.

Samuel Slay Skidmore January 19, 2022

I pressed the "Add incoming mail handler" to make a handler to create a task for a new JIRA project I created. I set the Incoming Mail Server for my new email to be the Default Cloud Server. However when I email the email associated with the Default Cloud Server I found that an older project with an older Email Handler that also as its Incoming Mail Server instead of my new project.

I wanted to ask if only one project can be associated with the Default Cloud Server? Or is there a way to make an extra email user for the Default Cloud Server to split my project issue creation?

Hi @Samuel Slay Skidmore

This looks like a Jira related question.  Can you change the product in the post to Jira instead of confluence?
