JIRA Core account 'already linked' when correcting OAuth as prompted

Stuart May November 17, 2017

A Page and Issue are linked on JIRA Core and Confluence, but the link fails to work.

I am prompted to correct OAuth Config Error.

I correct the OAuth so they match (arrows are green) and try to save the changes.

The page fails to Save due to the account 'already having a link'... the JIRA Cloud Application link & address is highlighted red.

I can't find anyway round it and only one instance of each Application so no idea how they could be linked any other way.

thanks

Go into your profile and remove the oauth connection from there. I think that may work around this.

Thanks... I get this in JIRA Core:

Authorised Applications

No applications are using your account to access JIRA data

...and this in Confluence:

Authorised Applications

The following applications are using your account to access Confluence data

No applications are authorised

Can't say I understand the implications of either!
