It says i cannot restrict the page , what do i do next

This is the error message 

You're not allowed to change these restrictions. It's either due to edit restrictions on the page, or permissions settings for this space

How do i get the permisssions

Welcome to Atlassian community.

This is space permission issue. Contact your confluence admin and ask your admin to give you change restriction permission into this space. Go through the below web page to understand more about permissions.
