Is updating confluence plugins a low risk activity?

PR23 August 7, 2024

All our confluence plugins say "update available" and I confirmed they will be compatible with the latest LTS version of Confluence which we will be upgrading to. Is updating them generally low risk?  Do I need to back everything up before I press the "upgrade" button?

Do you all usually upgrade one at a time, or "upgrade all" at once?

Thanks

I would say they are a low risk.  Depending on your environment I would have a test system where I would test upgrades and functionality of new addon versions.

I prefer to upgrade them one at a time.
