Is there really absolutely no way to extract the data from Confluence Questions?

Christoffer Pettersson March 24, 2015

Apparenty there is no rest API yet*, no way to list all the questions in the UI itself, nor access to the database.

I find this very alarming that any data we put into Confluence Questions, we might never find again.

Any comments or feedback on this would be appreciated!

Nope,I would strongly suggest that you vote on this issue:
https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CQ-376
To increase its popularity and add it to your watchlist for future updates. I also suggest you to comment in the bug, that way our Bugmaster can see how this problem is impacting your business.

Confluence Command Line Interface (CLI) has various actions for getting Questions information including getQuestionList and getTopicList. If you have additional specific requests, open an issue.
