Is there anyway to preserve the format in the confluence when creating a new ticket in JIRA?

Hi,

We are trying to create tickets from paragraphs/tables in confluence using the Confluence/JIRA connection.

We notice that the format of the paragraphs such as bullets and tables are taken as normal text paragraphs and lose all the formatting in JIRA description.

What is the right way so that JIRA will keep the format of the paragraphs when importing data from Confluence? Are there any Add-on plugins that can do that?

what we want is to preserve the format of the paragraphs in Confluence (i.e. bullet points will show as bullet points in JIRA).

Hi @Kent Chiu , I'm on sure what platform you are on, however, I know that on cloud it is not possible to retain formatting from confluence in Jira when creating issues from within confluence.
