Is there any way to determine what pages have links to external files?

Jennifer Sucharski September 12, 2012

We are bringing new file servers into our environment and migrating directories to the new servers. We know there are links on pages in Confluence to files on the existing servers and these links will be broken after the migration.

Is there any way to determine what pages have links to external files?

Thanks much!

Jennifer

Hi Jennifer,

The only way to determine what pages have links to external files would be navigating to those pages to check it out, but this could be a lot of manual work. So you can try looking for this information on the database directly, more precisely the body_content table that stores the content for all pages.

Hope it helps.

Cheers
