We are using the CopySpace PlugIn just for this purpose. Instead of creating empty spaces we have several template spaces which we copy for creating a new space.

When creating the copy you need to enter a unique space name and space key. Above mentioned error sound like issues with corrupt or duplicate space ids.

Hi,

we have the same probleme with the Copy Space Plugin with the same error.

Confluence version 5.9.2

Copy Space Addon: 2.3

Is there a way to delete the "space cache" mentioned in the error message? The space id seems to be auto incremental because every time I try to copy a space the space id gets a +1. So somewhere the id is stored/cached.
