Is there a way to assign the calendar an email address?

Laiken Cleary July 1, 2019

My team is looking to use the calendar feature on confluence but if someone must go in to add an event each time it will not be used. Is there a way to sync the calendar with one person and it update automatically or it be sent invitations to meetings like a typical address? Any help with this feature would be appreciated

You can use CalDAV to update the calendar if it supports it. If you are using exchange or Google this is possible. I'm sure there are other platforms as well that support CalDAV as well, I just only personally know about these two. The below link tells you how to setup CalDAV two way synchronization.

If you happen to use Exchange you might also consider switching to Outlook Calendars for Confluence. It works directly with Exchange and doesn't require a third party sync tool.
