Is there a way to allow anonymous users in Confluence to see content without logging out?

Deleted user December 11, 2013

We have JIRA/Confluence/Bamboo integrated with Active Directory. But not all JIRA users are Confluence users. They only view content as anonymous users. To do so, they have to logout in Confluence since they are often already logged into JIRA on most occasions. Is there a way we can add these JIRA users to an AD account that is only associated with anonymous permissions so they will not have to log out every time they navigate to Confluence? This is not very intuitive as all the user sees when they navigate to Confluence pages is "You do not have permissions to view this content". I would much rather not have to instruct every user that falls under this scenario that they have to log out every time they want to view Confluence content.

This is no longer an issue as we have rolled out Confluence to all users. Still may be a valid question for someone else.
