Is it possible to provide a client with access to a single space without setting them up an account?

Background

We are using Confluence to harbour all internal documentation but certain spaces we want/need to be able to share directly with specific clients. I am aware of the public access approach but this allows the client to see all shared documentation across the site that has been given this kind of permission, which therefore means Client 1 can also see Client 2's documentation and vice versa; which we want to avoid for security reasons.

Question

Is there a way to restrict the access so that if we have shared a space with a client via there email address; they can not access the Space Directory to navigate to our other clients documentation without registering them as a user on our instance?

No.

You need to have an account to be able to work out what a user can or can not see.
