We want to open our confluence-instance for customers. But the customers must not see the articles the developers write (in their own space). Not even the subjects.
Is it possible to configure a user that he starts at a special space and can not see the dashboard?
Or is it alternatively possible to configure the dashboard that there are only the spaces shown the user may see, and put all the other cool stuff from the dashboard on a page in a sub-site?
Many regards.
Hi Matthias,
We did a customisation and our users see a HTML page instead of the dashboard. They don't have access to the browse menu so they can only see one space.
You may not need a customisation like that as Jobin mentioned.
I suggest to do a test run with selected users or create some test users for your self and check everything throughly.
Cheers,
Selcuk

That is the default behavior of Confluence. You don't need any changes. Just make sure the content you want restrict is available only to developers.
