Is it possible to make the side bar not scroll back to the top when item is selected

Question in title. When I click on an item in the sidebar, it automatically scrolls back to the top. Is it possible to make it not scroll back to the top?

Unless I don't understand what you are asking, clicking an item in the sidebar opens a different page. How would Confluence know what on the page you wanted to be in view?
