Is it possible to hyperlink text in onDemand to the local network drives?

Hi,

I have an OnDemand Confluence license. Is it possible to link text in Confluence to a place or file located on my local network drive?

Thanks!

You can always link to files using file://<networkpath> isn't it?

Of course this can work only if you are working within your company's intranet.

Thank you! :o)

I tried

file://Clegw_pdata2_server/pdata2/Wrmm/iqqm/ecfiles.doc

but the link stays grayed out. Is there a trick to make it active?

Thanks! :o)
